Service questions

What counts as a general handyman job?

Small-to-medium repairs and installations that do not require a permitted specialty trade: drywall, doors, carpentry, mounting, caulking, and minor fixture swaps. If a job turns out to need a licensed specialty trade, we tell you before any work starts.

Which Broward cities do you cover?

We serve Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Davie, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Oakland Park, Wilton Manors and nearby Broward communities, with South Florida coverage through the wider Dr. Handyman Service network.

Can I book more than one small task in a single visit?

Yes. Punch lists are one of the most common requests. List every item when you start the Assistant so the visit is scheduled with enough time.

How do I get an estimate?

Open the Assistant on any page and choose Ask a question or Book an appointment. It collects your contact and job details, checks calendar availability, and routes to our central reception team.

Do you handle storm and humidity-related repairs?

Yes — re-sealing, trim and fascia rot repair, door alignment after swelling, and similar Florida-specific maintenance are routine general handyman work.

How is pricing handled?

Pricing depends on scope, materials, and access. We confirm scope and cost with you before work begins. Nothing is charged through this website.
